Beertap Lindr Kontakt 40/K 2-taps

Beertaps with inbuild air compressor, great in diversity

Lindr has in their assortment of beertap drycoolers also beertaps with an inbuild air compressor. The beertaps with the inbuild air compressor can be recognised by the /K in their model name, for example Lindr Pygmy 25/K, Kontakt 40/K, Kontakt 70/K. The Lindr drycooler beertaps with inbuild air compressor are very popular. You will see these beertaps a lot at beerfestivals, but also renting companies use these taps a lot. Due to the inbuild air compressor you can pour beers based on air pressure instead of CO2. So you don't need to take a CO2 bottle with you which makes these taps ideal for renting purposes. In many cases you see keykeg kegs that are connected to these taps, as keykeg is a bag in keg system. By using keykeg kegs the oxygen from the ambient air can't get in contact with the beverage which results in a longer shelf life of the beverage. But you can also connect standard stainless steel kegs to a Lindr beertap with inbuild air compressor or a dolium or polykeg 1-way keg. Maybe you might need another type of dispense head when you want to connect another type of keg.

One of the big advantages of the Lindr beertap with inbuild air compressor is that you can switch off the air compressor manually. When you switch off the air compressor you can easily switch to pouring beers / beverages based on CO2 pressure (CO2 pressure reducer and CO2 bottle necessary). So with a beertap with inbuild air compressor you have the best of both worlds, pouring based on air pressure and CO2 pressure if you want. When you have a beertap with 2 taps with inbuild air compressor you can even decide to pour 1 keg based on air pressure and another keg based on CO2 pressure, making a smart setup to make optimal use of your Lindr beertap.

Tap suitable for several beverages

As I said before the Lindr taps with inbuild air compressor are mostly used with keykeg kegs. The beverages that are available in keykeg kegs is growing very fast. Beverages that are available in keykeg kegs are wine, cider, prosecco and premixed cocktails. All these kind of beverages can be easily connected to a Lindr tap with inbuild air compressor. Do you want to pour beers again? No problem you might maybe need another type of dispense head if it is not in a keykeg keg.

Stainless steel taps

When you are going to pour beverages like wine, cider, prosecco or premixed cocktails, stainless steel taps are highly recommended. The high acidity in beverages like wine, cider and prosecco will damage the chrome layer in the long term. The Lindr taps are delivered with chrome taps by standard which need to be replaced for pouring wine, cider etcetera. Stainless steel taps are much better resistant against the high acidity of beverages like wine, prosecco, premixed cocktails and cider. You can use the stainless steel taps also for pouring beers.

So if you are looking for a tap with a large variety of possibilities and you want to have the option to pour also other beverages than only beer. A Lindr drycooler tap with inbuild air compressor and stainless steel taps might be the right tap for you!
